Local Cartoonist Fred Mulhearn publishes Life in Looziana

Here's a collection of Fred Mulhearn's cartoons about what makes Louisiana different, unique, and sometimes just plain weird. You'll chuckle at Fred's observations on living in the Gret Stet, and you'll understand why Fox McKeithen gave him the unofficial title of "Louisiana's Own Cartoonist." For many years, Fred's editorial cartoons have been published in The Advocate and other Louisiana newspapers.

Although Fred Mulhearn was born and raised in Winnsboro, he now makes his home in Denham Springs. We at CHB are proud to have him as a part of the community and are honored to stock his book. Life in Looziana is a humorous view on what it means to be a Louisianian. From the weather to the food, our sports to our sayings, Mulhearn's "cartoons and commentary" are sure to ring true to any local. Copies are available both online and in our store.
