A Read & Review Club Review: Traveler by Arwen Dayton

The CHB Read & Review Club is for educators and students who enjoy reading and would like to share the joy of reading with others through reviewing and recommending books. As a bookshop, we often receive special review copies of books in advance of their release dates so that we can review them.

Review: Sorcerer to the Crown by Zen Cho

England’s magic is running out, and Zacharias Wythe, the Sorcerer Royal (and an entirely unpopular one to boot), doesn’t know how to fix the problem. Pressured by the magical community’s hostile threats to his position and growing interest and concern from England’s non-magical government, Zacharias travels to fairyland in a last-ditch attempt to solve the magic crisis and keep his rightful place as Sorcerer Royal.

Review: Half Wild by Sally Green

I stayed up all night reading Sally Green’s first novel, Half Bad,  and I’ve been dying to get my hands on the sequel, Half Wild, ever since. I was lucky enough to secure a digital arc of this, and I must say that the second book more than lives up to the premise and excitement of the first. Nathan’s continuing journey had me hooked from the start. I’ll go ahead and warn readers that spoilers for Half Bad follow, though I won’t spoil anything for Book 2.
