The CHB Read & Review Club is for educators and students who enjoy reading and would like to share the joy of reading with others through reviewing and recommending books. As a bookshop, we often receive special review copies of books in advance of their release dates so that we can review them. However, since we can only read so many books and we value the thoughts and opinions of other readers, CHB is recruiting educators and students to read and review advance reader copies (or arcs) of books that we receive, and we'll post their reviews on the Cavalier House Books website via the Read & Review Club Blog!
Rebecca R. (15) is a Read & Review Club member, and she has written a review of Never Always Sometimes by Adi Alsaid! Check out what she has to say about the book:
Dave and Julia are best friends who swear that they will not fall in love; they also made a list of high school clichés that they would never complete. However, during their senior year in high school, they decide to spice things up by trying to complete all of the cliches on the list, and they learn a few things about high school, life, and love. Their relationships endure some problems throughout the book; will they come out as friends or more? The content of this book is strictly for mature teenagers, but the plot is very easily understood. The loose ends of the book were all tied up by the end, but I loved the characters so much I just wanted more. I highly recommend it to all who love romance novels and happy endings.
Thanks to Rebecca for her review!
