What is the CHB Staff reading this week?

Team CHB has been reading up a storm with all of the rainy weather we've been having.

Victoria has been curling up with her favorite comfort media, the audiobooks of the Murderbot Diaries, to feel better after being under the weather.

Phoebe is continuing her classics streak with Sylvia Plath's novel, The Bell Jar.

Eden is currently reading Don’t Want You Like A Best Friend by Emma R. Alban. The story follows Beth and Gwen, meeting at the start of the season and growing closer as the story goes on. It’s delightfully sweet so far, and they can’t wait to finish it!

Sarah just wrapped up The Encanto's Daughter. It is such a cute YA read, well-paced and bringing the reader into the world. She greatly enjoyed the characters and how de la Cruz hinted at certain things in the plot. The world of the book definitely goes onto her list of fantasy worlds she wishes she could drop into, and she cannot wait to read more from this author!

Matthieu is currently reading Raymond Chandler's The Big Sleep with his book club!

John is excited about all of the ideas he's gleaning from For All the People by John Curl!

Michelle is reading That Librarian by local librarian Amanda Jones and is just so proud of Amanda for being such a leader is our community!
